As a small, rural community, the Harvest Festival service is always special to us as a way to celebrate and give thanks for the farmers who put food on tables across the nation. Here in Dorsington we even have a little ‘Veg Shed’ stocked with local produce - if you’re ever passing, do pop by! 

This year, as well as acknowledging the challenges faced by local farmers, we wanted to do something to help those facing the economic challenges of the cost of living crisis, so food donations were invited for Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank. The Foodbank is a lifeline for those in need so we were delighted to be able to support them this Harvest time. Thank you to the congregation members who donated food items and to Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank for the fantastic work they do.
