An afternoon of entertaining music for four saxophones (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone) with tea and home made cake in the interval. Founded in 2012 by their director Louisa Davidson, the members of the quartet are all qualified, accomplished and experienced musicians. They enjoy playing the classical saxophone quartet repertoire alongside exploring more contemporary style pieces, including jazz and tangos, written and arranged by saxophonists themselves.
Admission £15, inclusive of tea and cake, on the door. Children free. Proceeds from the concert will be divided equally between the quartet and the church.
