Holy Communion, usually Order 1

Children are always welcome in our church. Our regular monthly service specifically for all generations is the Open Door Service held at Blockley Church on the first Sunday of the Month at 9:30am. It starts with breakfast, coffee and juice, followed by bible stories, singing, prayer and laughter.

Evening service with Advent hymns and readings for Advent Sunday when we will be joined by the Benefice choir.

Informal family and child friendly Worship

Second Sunday@Six is a service for those looking for something different. Reflection, prayer, music and worship songs, and a quiet space to meet with God. All are welcome.
Please note these services take place in the Little Village Hall, not the church.

The grief and pain of life do not have to be left at the church door at Christmas, but can sit alongside the hope and light at the heart of the Christmas message.
A Blue Christmas service is a gentle, reflective worship service for people who are grieving or have lost loved ones. Sometimes known as "The Service of the Longest Night", it is held in Western Christian churches during the Advent season, on or around the Winter Solstice, looking forward to the return of light after the darkest period.

A traditional spoken Service

Common Worship Holy Communion. Junior Church for school age children takes place during this service. Children leave after the first hymn for their own bible story and related activities and rejoin their parents/carers for a blessing during communion towards the end of the service. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS CURRENTLY HELD IN THE JUBILEE HALL at 9:30 am.
