Informal family and child friendly Worship

Second Sunday@Six is a service for those looking for something different. Reflection, prayer, music and worship songs, and a quiet space to meet with God. All are welcome.
Please note these services take place in the Little Village Hall, not the church.

A traditional spoken Service

On 16th August at 3:30pm St Lawrence Church, Bourton on the Hill, will host an afternoon of entertaining music for four saxophones! The concert will feature soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones and tea and home made cake will be served in the interval.
Founded in 2012 by their director Louisa Davidson, the members of the Worcestershire Saxophone Quartet are all qualified, accomplished and experienced musicians. They enjoy playing the classical saxophone quartet repertoire alongside exploring more contemporary style pieces, including jazz and tangos, often written and arranged by saxophonists themselves.
Admission will be £15, inclusive of refreshments, payable on the door. If wished, places can be reserved in advance by contacting one of the churchwardens. Children are welcome to come FREE.
Proceeds from the concert will be divided equally between the quartet and the church.

Children are always welcome in our church. Our regular monthly service specifically for all generations is the Open Door Service held at Blockley Church on the first Sunday of the Month at 9:30am. This month's service is a walk led by our youth worker, Amy. Come along and find out more!
