Tucked away in the Cotswold countryside just outside the village, the beautiful and historic St Giles Church in Coberley invites visitors to discover its Norman roots and unique medieval treasures, including the famous 13th-century "heart burial". Positioned close to walking routes like the Cotswold Way, it provides a peaceful and welcome sanctuary for hikers and travelers, whilst also offering a scenic and intimate wedding venue. As a vibrant part of the Churn Valley Benefice, we warmly invite you to join our friendly community for regular services and local events, helping us grow and strengthen our church family.
Please note the PCC of Coberley and Cowley Parish is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
