Accessibility

You are very welcome to bring assistance dogs - or indeed any dogs into this church, if they are well behaved!

There is a hardstanding area adjacent to the road for 3 cars; and during dry weather there is ample car parking on the grass.

Our Building

This is a Grade I listed building which is a 'plague church' - when the plague came to Ampney St Mary the villagers moved away (some 1.5 miles) and so the church building now sits in a field on its own, adjacent to the Ampney brook. It is a tranquil and delightful setting. The church contains significant Medieval wall paintings.

The east end window contains three lovely panels of stained glass. The other windows are clear 'Crown Glass'.

Music and Worship

We usually use the Book of Common Prayer for Evensong; and we tend to sing the service but say the Psalm. These services take place on the 1st Sunday of the month - April to October at 6pm.
