St Mary's Lower Swell

St Mary's Church Lower Swell is half 12th Century Church and half Victorian extension. It is currently used as a festival church and a space for the school to hold services and events.

Our Christmas Service is a joint service with the school and is on Thursday 21st December at 5.30pm.

We are planning an Easter service for 2024 and would welcome ideas about how to reopen the church.

For the time being, St Edward's Church is closed for essential maintenance, so we hold the service in the Church Room nearby in Church Walk. Directions: When facing the South (main) Door of St Edward's Church, turn left and follow the path round to the left and down the steps where the entrance to the Church Room can be found.
Coffee is served from 10.15 am. Unfortunately, we are unable to live-stream services from this location. Check the Benefice website at https://www.scats.org.uk/ for further details.

We are sorry to announce that Gill Hall has died.
