Church of England Diocese of Gloucester Dumbleton

St Peter

*** We have a Coronavirus page on our church website here. ***

In accordance with the requirements of the legislation which results from the Covid 19 pandemic, all churches are currently closed and public worship has been suspended.

Our benefice of four churches is holding a short service on Zoom at 9.30 am on Sunday mornings. Please email jul[email protected] if you wish to join us.

If you wish, you are still able to view services from St Peter’s Winchcombe: Sunday 10.30am, Monday to Friday 12.30pm. Listen live to all these services by following the link on the Winchcombe home page.

It is Christian Aid week from 10-16 May.

In the past Dumbleton villagers have given generously to this charity.

The need is as great as ever for emergency and development work on behalf of the poor around the world and this year COVID 19 has added to the emergency.

If you would like to donate to Christian Aid please visit their web page.

You can read about their work against coronavirus here.

St Peter’s is an historic building at the heart of a small rural community. All receive a warm welcome at our friendly Sunday services. The church is open daily from around 9am until dusk.

"The parish of Dumbleton: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
