Scrumptious afternoon teas were served from 2pm until 4.30pm on the decorated green by the churchyard. Tasty teas, gorgeous gateaus, brilliant biscuits and convivial conversation were all enjoyed. The sun shone and the all the money raised will help us to continue the upkeep of our lovely church. Thank you once again to all those who helped and to all those who contributed towards the magnificent total of £2165.
Michael has successfully walked over three days in September, along the Thames Path from Oxford to the source of the Thames near Cirencester. Before he started Michael hoped that a long walk could raise much needed money for churches that mean so much to the communities in which they are set.’ At St Peter’s we are very grateful to Michael for this wonderful fundraising walk.
