As is the tradition, Holy Communion will be offered during the service or you’re welcome to come forward for a blessing, either way please come along and enjoy the service.

Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking an interest in the Church of St Martin of Tours, Barholm-with-Stowe.

Our next service in St Martin's Church, Barholm with Stowe will be on Sunday 30th August, 2026 at 9am 

Fr Aran will lead us in a Contemporary Service of Holy Communion for the Thirteenth Sunday after Trinity.

The Readings and Responsorial Psalm,  will be taken by James Jones, Lois Webb and David Rae will focus on Hope and Faithfulness with the Gospel Reading + Matthew 16. 21 - end as we are called to live in faith, love and trust.

You will be warmly welcomed at the door by one of our regular congregation, probably myself.

After which a thoughtful homily will be given by Fr Aran, Priest of our Seven Villages. 

Julia - our organist will not be with us for this service as is taking her well deserved summer break (Julia will be back for our Harvest Festival & Auction on Sunday 4th October to accompany our singing to Three well known and traditional harvest hymns when we hope to have guest appearances musically as well as readers, the service is organised by David Brown and should you wish to play a part - reading or a musical solo please contact David).
