St Martin's Church, Barholm-with-Stowe

Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking an interest in the Church of St Martin of Tours, Barholm-with-Stowe.

Our next service in St Martin's Church, Barholm with Stowe will be on Sunday 1st November, 2026 at 5pm.

This will be a Service of Choral Evensong, for the 'Commemoration of the Faithful Departed' on All Souls' Eve - Sunday 1st November, please note the start time of this service is at the slightly earlier time of 5pm.

If you would like  to hear the name of a loved one read aloud at our annual requiem service Please email names to [email protected], text, or telephone Tel. 07484 201413; I'll collate the names with the lists from each village (All churches have a list at the back of church).

If you know someone who is mourning or you think this service may help, then please invite them and bring them along.

We have a choir to help lead us in worship, The choir is St Martin's Singers of Stamford led by Fergus Black  (There will be twenty singers in the choir) and Julia will accompany us at the Organ.

There will also be an opportunity to light a candle, which is especially relevant if you don’t want names to be read aloud. This will happen before the service starts so the candles may shine brightly like prayers before us.

With love, and hope to see you soon,

Carole x
