A Quiet Christmas Service

Occuring
for 30 mins
Venue
All Saints
Address
Church Street Gainsborough, DN21 2JR, United Kingdom

Christmas can be a wonderful time when family and friends get together, but it can also be a sad or difficult time if we have lost a loved one, find ourselves unemployed or, for whatever reason, are facing a difficult future. We can then feel that although we want to remember the birth of Jesus Christ we would like to do so quietly and in a gentle way.
If this applies to you, or if you just prefer to celebrate the birth of Christ in a quiet way, then please do consider joining us at our Quiet Christmas service on Wednesday 18th December at 2.30 pm. The service comprises a few carols, a reading, prayer and the lighting of candles for remembrance and for hope for the future.

All Saints' Parish Church

"The parish of Gainsborough: All Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
