Getting married in church
If you are engaged and looking for information about getting married at Old Clee - congratulations! We look forward to helping you make arrangements for your special day.
Weddings are restricted at the moment, depending on which Step we're in on the government Roadmap. In Step 1, weddings may take place with six people present. In Step 2, weddings may take place with fifteen people present. In Step 3, weddings may take place with thirty people present. In Step 4, restrictions on numbers will be lifted.
Where there are limits on the numbers who can attend, please note that this includes the couple and guests, but does not include church staff (the minister, verger, organist etc).
There are measures in place in church to ensure your safety, including the regular use of hand sanitiser and 2m social distancing. Please also be aware that because of the need to space out, some of your guests may be seated in the north and south aisles, where they may not see the whole ceremony. Please note that face coverings/masks are mandatory in places of worship.
If you would like to book a wedding, please contact Peggy Gregory on 01472 312963 or [email protected] in the first instance.
You are able to get married at Old Clee if one of you lives in the parish, any of your parents live in the parish, any of your parents or grandparents were married here. If you don't have one of these 'qualifying connections' you could form one by attending our Sunday services for six months. Contact us for more information.
