Christenings - the start of an amazing journey with God!
We're pleased you're looking for information on Christenings. You are welcome to arrange a christening (also known as baptism) at Old Clee Church.
At the moment, christenings are not able to happen in church because of Covid-19 restrictions. We anticipate that we will be able to resume christenings from 17th May onwards, which is Step 3 in the government Roadmap.
Just like with weddings, we will need to cap the number of people attending a christening at 30. This includes the child/person to be christened, the parents, and godparents.
There are measures in place in church to ensure your safety, including the regular use of hand sanitiser and 2m social distancing. Please note that face coverings/masks are mandatory in places of worship.
If you would like to book a christening, please contact Peggy Gregory on 01472 312963 or [email protected] in the first instance.
