Fundraising Quiz for church repairs

Come and show off your trivia knowledge at this fundraising quiz at Stixwould Village Hall. Raising money for St. Peter's Church electrical repair fund, we hope to have a fun evening. Just £2 per person, teams of up to 6 people. Refreshments will be provided - bring your own snacks and drinks if you'd like. There'll be a raffle too (prizes will be gratefully accepted).

Choral Morning Prayer

Our service on the first Sunday of each month is choral morning prayer. The service is led by ALM Paul Brewster and Alan Underwood, our musical director, with our choir.
In April the service will move to April 19th as it is Easter Sunday on the 5th!

Annual Spring Plant Sale and Coffee Morning at St Mary's at Kirkby on Bain

Our very popular annual Spring sale features a huge selection of plants of all varieties including perennials, annuals, vegetables, shrubs and houseplants. Inside the church we have an equally fabulous selection of items for sale in the thrift shop, things that you knew and loved and forgotten how useful they were! Plus jigsaws books, tombolas, lucky dips, and amazing home made cakes. Refreshments are served all morning. No matter whether it is sunny or raining this is one Saturday morning you don't want to miss. This event supports St Mary's Kirkby on Bain and St Margaret's in Roughton.

Church wardens and JCC representatives will have already been voted in at the annual meeting of your individual church. This is a meeting to discuss moving forward as a group, what our churches have planned and how we can work together.
