Our Next Service will be held on Sunday 1st November at 3 pm when we will celebrate 'All Saints' Day.' Father Terry Steele will be officiating. It is traditional for many churches throughout the UK (especially Catholic and Anglican churches) to honour all the saints in Christian history on this special day (particularly those who do not have their own special feast day). For more information about All Saints' day (including the difference between Halloween, All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day), click here
We wish to offer our sincere thanks to Richard, Judith and Debbie for giving up their time to beautifully decorate our church for this years Harvest Thanksgiving service. The altar window, and each of the other mediaeval windows had beautiful harvest displays along the sills. The 12th century font was also adorned with fruit and cuttings from local shrubs.Fr Terry Steele conducted a traditional service of harvest-themed liturgy and sermon, three Bible readings and six well-known festive hymns. We all went home thoroughly grateful to God for our fellowship and for His selfless provision to us, His children.
