HERITAGE WEEKENDS AT SEFTON SEPTEMBER 2025

We were open for 6 days over two weekends in September and many visitors (approx. 320) took the opportunity to have a look around our amazing grade 1 listed church - “The Cathedral of the Fields”

There were lots of items to purchase from our church shop, an opportunity to have a “cuppa” in the cafe and find out some more information about family trees or the history of the church from our volunteers.

On the first Friday morning we once again had a lovely time with the Year 6 children of St Oswald's Primary School who spent the morning with us doing crafts and following the Heritage Trail.

On Saturday 20th, our Sefton Bell Ringers generously gave their time to allow people to try bell ringing !

On Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st we were very pleased that Ken Hughes Stonemason’s visited us. There were demonstrations, a display of work and an opportunity for anyone to “have a go”.

THANK YOU TO THE SMALL BUT WONDERFUL TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS - WE COULDN’T HAVE MANAGED WITHOUT YOUR HELP.
