About Us

Holy Trinity church In the Diocese of Liverpool, where everyone is invited, included and important.

Holy Trinity Church, Rosemary Lane was established over 100 years ago, to meet the needs of a growing village community. Since then the village has become a small town but nobody would ever consider describing it as anything but a village.

It is not surprising therefore that many refer to our Rosemary Lane buildings as – ‘The Church in the Village’

Actually our premises are far more than just a church building. We have a large Parish Hall which is used widely by the community and a smaller Hall, called ‘The Workshop’, which is used by our thriving Uniformed Organisations and many other community groups. On a Saturday morning it is a drop in café, where many enjoy a bacon bap, a drink and a natter.

We provide a variety of worship at Rosemary Lane, designed to meet the different needs of our members. Our 8.30am service is a conventional Holy Communion service following Common Worship with two hymns and on the 1st Sunday each month, it is followed by a cooked breakfast in the Parish Hall. At 10.00am we hold a contemporary service focused on familes and then at 11.15am a conventional service of Morning Worship.

I am sure that you will find a service that will suit your personal needs and can assure you of a warm welcome, whether as a visitor, or as someone who is looking for a church community, where they might wish to become regularly involved. Either way, we look forward to welcoming you to Holy Trinity.
