The 8.30am, 10am & 11.15 am congregations join together for the annual parade toy service. St Nicholas’s Church, Blundellsands is once again facilitating the Annual Christmas Toy Appeal, helping to bring joy to children across Sefton during the festive season.
Last year, thanks to your generosity, over 300 children received Christmas gifts. We are deeply grateful for your support and hope that you will consider helping again this year to make Christmas special for local children in need.
Donations of new toys for children of all ages, as well as gift cards for teenagers (up to a value of £10), may be brought to church before or during the service on Sunday 15 November.
To enable the gifts to be sorted appropriately, please ensure that all toys are new and unwrapped.
The donated gifts will be taken to St Nicholas, Blundellsands, the Sefton collection point, where volunteers will sort and wrap them before they are distributed to local children through Sefton Social Services.
This appeal provides an important opportunity for our church to support families in our community and share the hope and joy of Christmas with those who need it most.

On Sunday 29 November, we will gather at Holy Trinity Church at 4.00pm, ready to set off at 4.15pm. The parade will walk to the Village Crib, where we will sing Christmas carols before returning to Holy Trinity for warm refreshments and fellowship.
Along the route, we will be distributing lanterns and Christmas publicity, helping to share the message and joy of the season within our community. Local shops are also being encouraged to display lanterns in their windows, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the village.
