LENT COURSE

Occuring
Every Wednesday at for 1 hour
Venue
Holy Trinity
Address
Rosemary Lane Formby, L37 3HA, United Kingdom

During Lent we’ll be looking at four psalms of lament: 77, 10, 22 & 13 in our morning services to help us learn how to lament (with a pause for our celebrations on Mothering Sunday). To accompany this series our Lent Course, running on four Wednesdays at Holy Trinity (8pm- 9pm), will reflect on the book of Lamentations where the focus will be on what we can learn from lamenting. We’ll try and avoid trite answers and quick solutions. My invitation to you all is to join us on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings and tap into “the rich reservoir of grace and mercy God offers in the darkest moments of our lives.” (ibid)

Not meeting on Wednesday 13th March

Holy Trinity

"The parish of Formby: Holy Trinity is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
