If there is a person, situation, community, or concern that you would like us to include in
our prayers, please complete a prayer request slip and place it in the box at the back of church. These requests will be included during Evening Prayer.

Bible Study Group meets again on Thursday 1st October at 1.30pm in St. Michael’s Church
Hall. We shall continue a study of the Gospel of St. Luke and everyone is warmly welcome to
attend.

Come and join us as we celebrate Harvest and give thanks for the food, the land and all the blessings we share. A special opportunity for our Benefice family to gather together, with music, thanksgiving and a warm welcome for everyone.

The next group will meet in the North Aisle of Bickerstaffe Church on Wednesday 2nd September at 1pm. Come for a bowl of soup and after, enjoy playing a selection of board games. Please invite friends, family and neighbours. A sign-up sheet is at the back of church.

Funeral of the late James Singleton will take place at Southport Crematorium on Thursday 8th October at 1pm.

Bringing our Parish Family Together. A new all-age gathering beginning on 13th September and then on the 2nd Sunday of every month. If anyone would like to be involved with this, please speak with Andrew or Pam.

The Book Club will next meet at 7pm, in St. Michael’s Church Hall on Thursday 15th October,
at 7pm to discuss ‘Painter of Silence’ by Georgina Harding All welcome.

Starting in September, there will be a new group meeting on the third Wednesday of each month meeting in the Church Hall. The first Aughton Wednesday Social Group will be on
Wednesday 16th September at 1pm. We will meet for a bowl of soup at 1pm followed by an activity or a speaker. Please invite friends.

The Men’s Breakfasts will be held in St Michael’s Church Hall at 9.30am on the following dates: 23rd May,18th July,19th September, 7th November.
There will be a full fry up for £5 followed by a speaker. Sign up at the back of church and
bring a friend!

Sisters of Mersey Concert. Saturday 13th Feb 2027 at 7:30pm. Save the date for a fantastic
