This new group will meet in the North Aisle of Bickerstaffe Church on the first Wednesday of each month from 1pm. We will meet for a bowl of soup followed by a speaker or activity. The first meeting will be on 6th May. Please invite friends, family and neighbours to join us. A sign-up sheet is at the back of church.

Bickerstaffe Church Walking Group

Meeting at 11am on Saturday 22nd August at The Ship Inn car park, Lathom.

The walk will be just under 2 miles

As always, the walks are at your own risk, please wear suitable footwear. All walks have been risk assessed but please consider that you are physically able to complete the walk. Please also consider what equipment you may need for the walk.

We shall walk along the Leeds – Liverpool canal and visit parts of Lathom and Burscough; look around Burscough Wharf and then lunch at The Ship Inn. If you wish to eat at The Ship, let Kath know and we can book a table.

The group meets monthly. New walkers always welcome!
