Saturday 20th June
Meet at 11am at The Derby Arms Pub in Rainford.
The walk will be just over 2.17 miles.
We will visit the Top of Rainford with a great view then have lunch before Rainford Walking Day begins. Starting at the Derby Arms Pub at 11am, we head to the Linear Path then on to Rocky Lane. Walk to Higher Lane and take the path through the wood to the Top of Rainford. After walking the Top of Rainford, walk back to Higher Lane and back to the pub for lunch. After lunch – Rainford Walking Day. As usual, all walks done at your own risk and please wear appropriate footwear. It would be great to see new faces join the group.

The service is an opportunity to celebrate God the Father’s love for us and give thanks and remember the men who have given us support in our lives. All men who attend will be given a gift. Please invite family, friends and neighbours.
The Main Service: Primary Occasion for Admission of Church Wardens is to be held on Sunday, 21st June at 3pm in Liverpool Cathedral, presided by Bishop Ruth.
During the service the Church Wardens will be commissioned. Sidespeople and anyone in the congregation are warmly invited to attend.

For those unable to make the Cathedral date there will be another service on Sunday, 28th June at 6.30pm at All Saints, Rainford.
Morning Prayer led by Mark
This new group will meet in the North Aisle of Bickerstaffe Church on the first Wednesday of each month from 1pm. We will meet for a bowl of soup followed by a speaker or activity. The first meeting will be on 6th May. Please invite friends, family and neighbours to join us. A sign-up sheet is at the back of church.
The Men’s Breakfasts will be held in St Michael’s Church Hall at 9.30am on the following dates: 23rd May,18th July,19th September, 7th November.
