Bickerstaffe Church Walking Group

St. James Church, Westhead, Vicarage Lane Westhead Ormskirk, L40 6HG

Meeting at 10.30am on Saturday 12th September at St. James Church, Westhead.

The walk will be 2.8 miles.

We will visit parts of Westhead and Ormskirk and will end up at The Prince Albert Pub.

1. Start on Vicarage Lane and visit St James Church Westhead. The Church has an exhibition on because it’s 175 years old. They are open for a coffee / look around on Saturday mornings.
2. From Church on to the footpath which leads to Westhead.
3. A577 main road back to School Lane.
4. School Lane to Whiteleys Lane to Wellfield Lane and back to the Church.
5. Move the cars to the Prince Albert Pub for a lovely lunch.

As always, the walks are at your own risk, please wear suitable footwear. All walks have been risk assessed but please consider that you are physically able to complete the walk. Please also consider what equipment you may need for the walk.

The group meets monthly. New walkers always welcome!

Holy Trinity is a rural parish church in the village of Bickerstaffe in Lancashire, and part of a United Benefice with St Michael, Aughton. Our vision is to provide spiritual, pastoral and social support to all who live in the parish. We are a lively, friendly and welcoming church family who creatively provide both contemporary and traditional expressions of worship and ministry.
