Accessibility

A fully fitted accessible toilet is located at the back of the church.

Available in the toilet area along with a potty for toddlers use.

We only have one toilet in church but it is a fully fitted accessible toilet . There is level access with room for a wheel chair user.

The North porch is used as our main entrance and is also the designated Emergency Exit for those with mobility issues.

The Church is fitted with a loop system to assist hearing aid users. Please switch your hearing aid to the "T" position for it to be effective.

Large print service booklets and Hymn books are available, please ask a sidesperson if you require one. The monthly magazine is also available in large print.

Assistance Dogs are welcome in Church.


Our Building

Stained Glass

The current building is mainly 19th Century with a Medieval Core. There has been a Christian presence on this site since around 650 AD.
The building has a level entrance via the North Porch,the ground floor is accessible except for the crypt which has several steps. There are stairs to the upstairs balcony.

Other Features

St Elphin's is a collection point for donations....look for the green box at the back of church! All donations are taken to the Food Bank Warehouse .

St Elphin's is part of the Church Street Conservation area.The burial ground was closed to new burials many years ago and is now a designated quiet area and its upkeep is the responsibility of Warrington Borough Council.
