Church of England Diocese of London St. Michael Cornhill with St. Peter-le-Poor and St. Benet Fink

St Michael Cornhill

Our aim is to glorify Jesus Christ by making him known through the hearing of God's word in the context of excellent quality traditional choral services.

We hope you will feel free to visit our church, to join in our worship, to find an oasis of peace in a busy world, or simply to see the 17th century structure and its 19th century furnishings.

MONDAY 20th July - VIRTUAL EVENSONG and PHYSICAL EVENING PRAYER

Every Monday at 6 p.m. for 40m

Virtual Event on Youtube

We're excited to announce that at 6pm this evening (Monday 20th July), we're going to be holding a service in St Michael's open to the public alongside our virtual service on YouTube. We have a Virtual Choral Evensong, and physical evening prayer.

It's a huge sadness that we won't be able to have live choral music in the service today, but we've made the decision that having a said service would still be of benefit both for our congregation, and from our side to see how social distancing will work itself out in the congregation. We're aware that some in our congregation may be shielding or do not feel comfortable using public transport, so this is why we will be having both a Virtual and Physical service.

If you're coming physically to the service
Please make sure you've read the guidance from the government before deciding whether to come into St Michael's. For test and trace purposes we will need to take some contact details from you, which we will then keep for the 21 days after the service, and then destroy. We will also have measures in place throughout the church to help us maintain social distancing.

If you're coming virtually, just click on more about this event to take you to our You tube service, and click on the attachment for the service sheet.

We're really looking forward to welcoming some of you on this evening. It won't be same but it is a small step back to normality and I hope it will be of benefit to us all.
