St Mary Abchurch is Grade I Listed, as being of 'exceptional interest', on the Historic England Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Music and Worship

The church is available for hire for rehearsals and performances, and thus occasionally hosts special events including recitals and concerts by guest artists. It is also available for small freestanding exhibitions.

The church organ is now awaiting some minor repairs, but there is an electric organ for use in the duration.

Wednesday's weekly service of Holy Communion is drawn from the Book of Common Prayer.

Books and merchandise from the Friends of the City Churches, available through the office during core hours, include The Visitor's Guide to the City of London Churches by City Guide and FCC Trustee Tony Tucker (3rd Edition, 2013), as well as his Sword Rests of the City (2015). Please visit the Friends' shop at http://www.london-city-churches.org.uk/shop.html for details.

The Church is usually open during office hours from Mondays to Thursday inclusive; please see ‘Services and Events’ for details. There is usually a short midweek service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer on Wednesdays at 12:30, and an organ recital on Tuesdays at 12:30.
