Vox Holloway (Latin: “the voice of Holloway”) began in 2009 as a community choral society for all – no auditions, no professions of faith or previous experience of choral singing required – with St Luke’s as its home. It includes participants from far and wide who wouldn't necessarily consider setting foot in a church.

Join us on Wednesday mornings for creative play sessions for 0–5s and their carers: a warm, friendly space to play, explore, and connect.

Suggested donation £2 per child

Join us from 12.30pm for simple food — bread, cheese, fruit, and cake — and a chance to catch up before the session runs from 1–3pm. Each term we explore a creative project together. No experience needed — you’re especially welcome if you think you’re not creative!

Voices is a drop-in non-performing singing group for complete beginners and experienced singers alike, of age 16 and over. It’s for anyone who loves to sing or who thinks they can’t sing but would like to. There are no auditions and no one has to be able to read music: we sing for the love of it, and learn songs by ear in glorious harmony.

Singing in a group is not only great fun: it’s very good for physical and mental well-being; it helps to improve breathing; and it’s great at giving lonely people a sense of belonging. There’s also a tea break at half time including chocolate biscuits!

On the last Sunday of the month we host a Community Lunch from 12.30pm. All welcome! There's no preaching, praying or paying. Please spread the word.

Our volunteer gardening group meets on the first Saturday of each month. No experience needed — just come along in sturdy shoes and old clothes as we care for and enjoy the gardens together. There’s good chat, plus coffee and cake too.

On the first Sunday of every month we hold a quieter 45-minute service drawing on Celtic rhythms and liturgies of the Iona Community.

Please note there’s no communion at this service. We hold a short Communion Service at 9:30am on the first Sunday of every month.
