We have been chosen as joint winners of the Animal Friendly Church 2023 by the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals. ASWA work to promote animal welfare, on the basis that care for all God’s creatures is a non-negotiable part of our faith. St Barnabas was recognised as an ASWA Animal Friendly church earlier in the year and we continue to include consideration and compassion for animals in all we do.Now we have been declared Joint Winners 2023 of the ASWA award for which we received a hamper of Fairtrade goodies to use in the church and a brass plaque to display.
St Barnabas Church relies on the generous giving of its supporters to maintain the fabric of the church and its continued presence as a place of worship in the community.Donations can be made using the attached form, either on a 'one-off' basis or more regularly through creating a standing order. For UK tax payers, it is also possible to reclaim a further 25% for every £1 donated, by signing the 'gift-aid' section of this form. Please contact our Treasurer at stbarnabaspcchcs.treasurer@gmail.com for further information.
The website for the Benefice contains details of all church services, contacts in each parish and copies (current and past) of the Four Parishes News Magazine.
