We already hold an annual service to celebrate animals as part of God's creation, usually in October. In addition, we have involved parishioners and particularly their children in steps to increase the 'animal-friendly' nature of our church. Carol Welch explained what is being done on the Al Ryan programme on BBC Radio Oxford. Whilst some of us may not be able or prefer not to worship in a church at present, the diocese continues to provide a live-streamed service each Sunday and on principal Holy Days. Services can also be seen later as recordings or can be listened to by phone.Go to https://www.oxford.anglican.org/coronavirus-covid-19-2/livestream/ for details. It will be led by a range of different people who will be offering prayers and reflections.
The website for the Benefice contains details of all church services, contacts in each parish and copies (current and past) of the Four Parishes News Magazine. We are fortunate to have a supportive community across the four villages of Beckley, Forest Hill, Horton-cum-Studley and Stanton St John. Go to: fourparishes.org.uk
