St Mark’s Teddington

St Mark's is very much a local church. Many of our parishioners can walk to church, which is unusual in this part of the world, where many people commute by car. We don't have professional-level music, cathedral-style flowers and loads of techie stuff, but we are told that we are one of the friendliest churches in the area. We are prayerful and contemplative people, seeking how to make Jesus Christ visible in our lives and in the community that surrounds us. We make mistakes, but that is OK, because we are loved by God.

We are an outward-facing church, and this is seen through our community hub. Sheddington meets on our site on a Saturday, we have a wildflower meadow with a beehive, St John Ambulance and 10th Teddington Scouts meet here, and so do various classes for adults and children. On Wednesdays we have a coffee morning between 10 and midday, open to all, where you can have a cuppa and a chat. The parish is in vacancy at present, while we wait to appoint a new parish priest, but if you would like us to pray for you, send us a message through our website https//stmarkteddington.uk.

Parish Communion

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Mark’s Teddington
Address
St Mark's Road Teddington, TW11 9DD, United Kingdom

This is a simple service of Holy Communion with hymns. All are welcome. There is a family chapel to one side of the church where there are toys and space for little ones if that is helpful. We are a dog friendly church with Inky the Frug at many services. She is very friendly and stays on a lead at the back of church.

Learning together.
