St Mark’s Teddington
St Mark's is very much a local church. Most of our parishioners can walk to church which makes us unique in this part of the world where many people commute to churches.
We are restarting public worship from Sunday the 21st March with a short said communion service at 10am. Please bring a facemask and a bible if you want to follow the readings. We keep the doors open for ventilation but this means it is a really good idea to wrap up warm with boots, gloves. blankets or whatever you need. The heating will have been on but with a sharp wind it gets chilly in church. Be prepared!
Our Easter services are in person. There are lots of online services around but we are a local church doing local things for local people and not everyone can access the internet.
Maundy Thursday 7pm a short service of Holy Communion with no vigil.
Good Friday 2.30pm a simple service at the foot of the cross.
Easter Morning 6am. The dawn service with bonfire. Please bring your own bells, drums, percussion instruments and party poppers.
Easter Morning 10am. This will be our celebration of Easter. Please book your place with Rachel on 8977 4442 or [email protected]

We are local people worshiping locally. We don't have professional level music, cathedral style flowers and loads of techie staff. We are a prayerful church of flawed and caring people who are seeking how to make Jesus Christ visible in their lives and the community that surrounds us. We make mistakes but that is OK because we are loved by God.
Our USP (sorry the vicar was in marketing once upon a time) is that we are prayerful and contemplative.
If you would like us to pray for you then please get in contact with the vicar Revd Karen Wellman at [email protected] or on 0208 9774067.</span>
And pray for us as we work out how to do church differently.
