Church of England Diocese of London Saint Mark, Teddington

St Mark Teddington

St Mark's is very much a local church. Our worship style involves hymns with an organ or CDs leading a small volunteer choir. We have a chapel near the front of the church where children can play quietly during the service under the supervision of parents. We are a liberal and inclusive church which is working out how we can make Jesus Christ visible to our community.

We have two new services which are a Messy Church for families on the second Sunday of the month and a Stillness on Sunday service on the last Sunday of the month which aims to explore mindfulness in the Christian contemplative tradition.

We run short courses such as Lent groups and a number of our congregation have been meeting to discuss and share ideas about being a grandparent in today's world.

We have a small wooden hall which is very popular for children's parties. In 2018 we are looking at how we might use our church building for community events. Please contact the vicar for more information or pop into the building to see the displays at the back of church which have some of our ideas.

We are very much a prayerful church and we are open (usually) from 9am-5pm every day as a quiet place to pray, light a candle or just be still.

We are on social media on twitter @stmarksTW11 and facebook St Mark's Church Teddington. Like or follow for events and services.
