A short service of morning prayer
A traditional language service of evening prayer including The Litany. The Litany unites voices in traditional prayer for forgiveness and peace, deepening personal devotion and community bonds and offering comfort.
A modern language service with singing led by our choir and separate age-specific activities for young people. On most Sunday's this is a service of Holy Communion. The 3rd Sunday of each month is usually a family service. The service is followed by refreshments.

A traditional language service following the 1662 Book Of Common Prayer. On most Sundays this will be an Evensong service with unaccompanied singing. On the third Sunday of the month this is usually Holy Communion.

Meet at the church entrance. Pray, reflect, and enjoy a walk around the Common. Conclude with refreshments at the Rectory.
Participants are encouraged to invite friends and family to join in these services and activities offering opportunities for worship, reflection, community, and personal growth.
On Thursday 8th May Monken Hadley Church will be joining the King and the Nation in commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.
Our evening will begin with 7pm drinks reception (included in the ticket price), followed by a celebratory concert at 7.30pm that takes us back to 1945, recalls the courage and spirit of the time and reflects the relief, joy and celebration of VE Day. The evening with culminate in the 9.15pm Ceremonial Lighting of the Beacon.
Join us for an evening of delightful music and song performed by vocalists - Angela Henckel, Sarah Roth and friends, host and orator Elaine Padmore OBE and organist/pianist Martyn Noble, featuring well-loved wartime numbers by the likes of Vera Lynn and Ivor Novello as well as some classical favourites. Interval refreshments and raffle tickets will be available to purchase.
All proceeds for this event will go towards our Church House Renewal Fund.

Monken Hadley Church's beacon on the tower is part of the National Beacon Network. Monken Hadley Church will be joining the King and the Nation in commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day with a cermonial beacon lighting at 9:15pm.
