A friendly morning at the Rectory, with parents on parental leave particularly in mind. Tea and coffee, other adults to talk to, and a safe, warm place for the little ones to play. No need to book, just come.

Our main service, every Sunday of the year. We celebrate Holy Communion in modern language, with hymns and singing led by our choir and a fine organ. Everyone is welcome to come forward, to receive communion or a blessing.

Though the language is modern, the shape, cadence and theology are those of the Book of Common Prayer.

In term time the children go out partway through for their own group. On the third Sunday of the month we all stay in together for a shorter all-age service, still Holy Communion, shaped so that children can follow it. Children are welcome at everything we do and nobody minds the noise.

Coffee follows, and there is no pressure to do or say anything.

Evening Prayer from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, said in traditional language with a sung hymn. On the third Sunday of the month it is Holy Communion according to the Prayer Book.

It lasts about forty five minutes. It is quiet, beautiful and unhurried, and you are very welcome whether or not you know the words.

Bring your pets for a special blessing during our regular Sunday worship. All are welcome.

Said Holy Communion for the feast of St Michael and All Angels, followed by tea and cake in the Rectory. All are welcome.

Scottish ceilidh dancing, fun for everyone, at Hadley Memorial Hall. Soup and a hot dog are included and drinks are on sale. Tickets are 15 pounds. Numbers are limited to 60 on a first come basis. To book, contact [email protected].
