Join us in our candle-lit church and hear the traditional readings that tell from the fall of man to the birth of Our Saviour. Between the readings there will be beautiful music sung by our choir and carols for everyone to join in with.

Stay for a glass of mulled wine and mince pies afterwards.

St Mary the Virgin, Monken Hadley

Monken Hadley is where Greater London meets the rolling fields of Hertfordshire. The parish extends from Barnet High Street to the far end of Hadley Common. Situated near the village green, historic almshouses, three duck ponds and the white Common toll gates.

We are keen to be a church for the whole community. Most worshippers live less than three miles away from the church but we also welcome a few people from further afield who love the relaxed use of sung services typical of Hadley Church.
