Come along for friendship & fellowship anytime between 12.00-2.00pm in the Magdalene Centre, Catherine Street, Winton, Eccles, Salford M30 8JD & enjoy a lovely bowl of healthy, homemade soup, a sandwich or a toastie & a snack with tea, coffee or juice. Vegetarians are catered for but if you have a food allergy please make this known to the
catering staff. The lunch is free or by donation.

A said Mass for 30 minutes followed by the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy

The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a devotion using rosary beads, revealed by Jesus to St. Faustina, focusing on invoking God's infinite mercy for the world by offering the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus to the Father, especially for sinners and the dying, promising great mercy to those who pray it with trust, particularly around 3 PM, the Hour of Mercy.

Parish Mass

The text for this year is drawn from Ezekiel 47: 1- 12, which portrays God’s life-giving water flowing from the temple of God. The river grows deeper and deeper restoring barren land, reviving waters, and sustaining flourishing ecosystems. The vision invites human responsibility: recognising ecological damage, embracing interconnectedness, we are called to immerse ourselves in the water, and actively safeguarding and working for the renewal of creation so that environmental healing and human well-being may flourish together.

This event, which will be held in the Magdalene Centre, Catherine Street, Winton, Eccles, Salford M30 8JD, will include afternoon tea consisting of sandwiches, cakes, buns, scones with cream & jam & copious amounts of tea. Following this we will celebrate the Last Night of the Proms with singing along to the popular patriotic songs. Flag waving a must. The Harvest Sunday Mass will support the work of the Mustard Tree Charity in Eccles & people attending are requested if they can to bring in food & toiletry items in support of this charity
