Brunswick Parish Church

We are a friendly, welcoming and diverse inner-city community church, where you can learn about following Jesus, grow at your own pace in your relationship with God, become a part of the fellowship and get involved in ministry and service.

Sunday Morning services are in the church building with social distancing restrictions in place, and are also accessible via Zoom. Please arrive by 10:30am for a 10:45 start. Unless you have a medical exemption, you must wear a facemask while in the building. For timing and more information, look here or send us an email. Check our News Page for further updates. Or click here.

Sunday Service is at 10:45am. On the first Sunday of each month it is followed by a Bring & Share lunch for everyone. There are also opportunities for prayer, fellowship and service during the week.

Our ‘Positive Steps’ Community Hub serves the local area Monday to Thursday 10am to 3pm. Events and activities are now fully restored back in the building, but with social distancing and safety measures. For updates, or for help and advice, please visit 'Positive Steps' or call the office (0161 273 6608) and someone will get back to you

The parish of Brunswick: Christ Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

We will be discussing Paula Gooder’s latest book, Women of Holy Week which retells the events of the Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension through the eyes of nine female characters Paula imagines accompanying Jesus during these momentous days. Each session will require pre-reading of the relevant chapter. Contact us if you need to buy a copy of the book.
