Christ Church Hall is situated next door to the Church, and shares an entrance porch with it. The Hall can accommodate up to 100 people, and is available for hire to regular weekly hirers Monday to Sunday, as well as for birthday parties, family celebrations and special events. (Note that on Sundays the hall is available for hire from 2pm).
The Hall has a large stage, and a spacious kitchen. There is car parking available on site, and hirers may also use the extensive grassed area between the Hall and Lloyd Street North.
Hourly rates are £25 per hour for the Hall. There is a minimum hire period of 2 hours. When booking the hall please include any set-up and clearing away times should you wish to decorate the room. Fees are chargeable from the moment of access.
To secure your booking we require 50% of the fee with the balance to be paid 7 days prior to your event. Please book an appointment to pay the balance so we can show you the hall, how to get access and the location of any cleaning equipment.
We now require a £100 cash deposit which is refundable if the hall and grounds are left clean and tidy and no damage has occurred.
We ask that you leave the kitchen, toilets, hall and stage clean and tidy for the next user, you are welcome to employ your own team of cleaners to do this.

We regret that the Hall is not available for hire by religious or political groups.

TO MAKE A BOOKING
First check the availability on this page by clicking on the relevant box. This is usually up to date. If the date is free, proceed to the tab called ROOM BOOKING to request a provisional booking which needs to be approved, please be aware that this can take a couple of days as we rely on volunteers who log-in periodically. You will need to supply your credit card number, THIS IS ONLY CHARGED ONCE THE BOOKING IS ACCEPTED/APPROVED. We will send you an email to confirm this has happened.
Due to regular bookings, the hall is only available on
Friday evenings
All day Saturday
After 2pm on Sundays.
Sometimes there is an odd Tuesday and Wednesday evening available but you will need to call us so we can make enquiries on your behalf.
