Sacred Trinity Church

We would love to welcome you to join us at Sacred Trinity Church on Chapel Street in Salford where our Sunday morning service starts at 11:15am. This is always followed by the chance to chat over a cuppa! On Sunday evenings we meet from 6:45pm for a brew before the evening event itself starts a round 7pm with something different depending on which Sunday in the month ~ see our Services and Events page for more details. Our Rector is the Revd Canon Andy Salmon.

THIS SUNDAY 15th March is Mothering Sunday! Please join us at 11:15am for a special service as we celebrate all mothers and care givers starting at 11:15am; please will you join us?

Next Sunday Evening is our Open Table Service

Tuesdays from 12noon to 2pm we  are open as a Place Of Welcome. Please call in to see us, share drinks, snacks and chat with others. We also sometimes have the Talk English Health Walk and Art Classes taking place at the same time.

Wednesday Evening at 6pm we usually have "Silence In The City"; come and join us to experience 20 minutes of quiet contemplation.

Good Friday, 3rd April 11:30am Good Friday Procession with the cross to St Ann's Church in Manchester

Easter Sunday, 5th April 8am  Morning Service followed by breakfast and 11:15am Easter Sunday Service "Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia"

Sacred Trinity is a friendly, open-minded church. Here since 1635, We continue to be an uplifting, loving, transformative and sometimes surprising presence in our community. We produce a short video service which is available to view on Facebook and our YouTube Channel, simply search for Sacred Trinity Church.  On Wednesdays we have a half hour service of quiet meditation at 6pm called "Silence In The City".

Ash Wednesday and Lent

Wednesday 18th February is Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent. We have a service at 6pm, which is when Silence in the City usually occurs, but on Ash Wednesday, we will have a communion service with “imposition of ashes” and music.
