Sacred Trinity Church

We would love to welcome you to join us at Sacred Trinity Church on Chapel Street in Salford where our Sunday morning service starts at 11:15am. This is always followed by the chance to chat over a cuppa! On Sunday evenings we meet from 6:45pm for a brew before the evening event itself starts a round 7pm with something different depending on which Sunday in the month ~ see our Services and Events page for more details. Our Rector is the Revd Canon Andy Salmon. 

Church Open Day! On Saturday 19th September 2026 we are having our OPEN DAY, jointly run with Make Tracks. Join us from 1pm to 5pm for music, stalls, guided bike ride, roller disco, trips up the tower, meet our community choir, a chance to try bell-ringing… Make Tracks is organised by From the Other City on behalf of Salford City Council as a celebration of moving, to mark the new pedestrian and cycling routes along Chapel Street.

Tuesdays from 11am to 2pm we are open as a Place Of Welcome. Please call in to see us, share drinks, snacks and chat with others. 

Wednesday Evenings at 6pm we are here for "Silence In The City"; come and join us to experience 20 minutes of quiet contemplation.

Sacred Trinity is a friendly, open-minded church. Here since 1635, We continue to be an uplifting, loving, transformative and sometimes surprising presence in our community. Ash Wednesday and Lent

Wednesday 18th February is Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent. We have a service at 6pm, which is when Silence in the City usually occurs, but on Ash Wednesday, we will have a communion service with “imposition of ashes” and music.

The Diocese of Manchester partners with thirtyone:eight and you can access their Safeguarding Helpline if the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser is unavailable.
