CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued advice that public worship is suspended until further notice, as are all our other activities. Following guidelines from the Church of England, we hope to keep our churches open for quiet private prayer at the times that they are normally open over the weekend. Everyone will need to maintain social distancing and ensure that hand-gel is applied upon entry and no-one should take any undue risks. Those with any symptoms of the virus or who are self-isolating should not attend. However, as we must follow government guidelines at all times, this arrangement may need to change without notice. CHURCH OPENING TIMES Mothering Sunday 22nd March 2020 St Gabriel's Not open Holy Trinity 9.30am - 10.30am St James' 9.30am - 10.30am 4.00pm - 5.30pm St Michael's 11.00am - 12noon St Peter's 11.00am - 12noon Pew Sheets Our normal pew sheets will not be available, but we shall produce a weekly sheet containing readings for each Sunday, the prayer and readings for the following week. These will be available at the back of church for as long as we are able to keep churches open.
A prayer for our times God of Compassion, Be close to those who are ill, afraid or in isolation. In their loneliness, be their consolation; in their anxiety, be their hope; in their darkness, be their light; through him who suffered alone on the cross but reigns with you in Glory Jesus Christ our Lord Amen
