St Gabriel's Church opens its doors every Monday morning from 9.30 till 12.00 to invite people from the community in to our building to enjoy a free drink and refreshments. This is not just for church members but for everybody in the neighbourhood who would like to come along.

We hope that people will come along to socialise and just enjoy each other's company. During the morning we aim to provide simple entertainment such as a quiz sheet, some armchair aerobics, bingo, craft activities etc. We are sure that some of you may even have your own skills to share!

However, none of these are obligatory - you may prefer to just sit and chat - and that is perfectly fine!
There is no charge for anything - our aim is just to offer a warm and safe place where people feel safe to connect, belong and contribute.

Do join us! If you would like to come but you are struggling to get there, please call one of us and we will do what we can to arrange transport for you.

St Michael and All Angels Church will be open Friday and Saturday 6th and 7th Sept. 10am to 4 pm. Refreshments will be available both days, the Sea Cadets and Air Cadets will be in attendance and the Air Cadet Band will be playing. There will be tours of the church, including the Medieval windows and trips up the tower, along with historical displays of photographs and objects of interest.

St Peter's Church will be open both Friday and Saturday from 10-30 till 3-30. There will be visual displays, and refreshments will be available.

St James' Church will be open on Friday 6th September and Saturday 7th September.
Both days open from 11.00 am to 3.00pm, with refreshments available.
