St Martin's Church, Droylsden
Welcome to St Martin's church website! We hope that our website will help you to discover what goes on at our church, provide information that is helpful and resources to help you explore the Christian faith.
We are a friendly church who meet together to worship God and who seek to show God's love and care to others in our local community and in the world through our words and actions. Our aim is to be a church that welcomes all and shares God's love with all in our community.
We have a Holy Communion service every Sunday at 10.45am to which all are welcome. We are working hard to keep our building as safe as possible and follow the Covid guidelines from the government and Church of England.
The parish of Droylsden: St Martin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Proof of charity status
Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
