St Michael's Tonge-cum-Alkrington the Church on Townley Street

We are a large, lively and diverse church in Middleton. We use Common Worship at all of our services, we attract people of all ages and outlooks to services and we would love to meet you. We are a member of the Inclusive Church network and hope that you will find a welcome and a place for you here.

St Michael's is open for all regular services, 8am and 9.30am every Sunday and at 10am on Wednesdays.

Morning Prayer is part of the 'Daily Offices' - a set liturgy of readings, psalms, canticles and prayers. It'a great way to set you up for the day. We also include a reflection too for one of the readings from some modern theologians, priests and Bishops from around the UK.
