Edenfield Parish Church
If you are you thinking of coming to church for the first time, or the first time in a long time, you will be very welcome!
We are a Church at the heart of community. Edenfield Parish Church has been a fixture of the village since somewhere in the 1600s and we are just as committed to being the Body of Christ in Edenfield today as we ever have been.
Our worship is at the more traditional end of the scale, and we meet every week at 9.30am. The first and third weeks are Holy Communion, with the second week being our Family Service, and the fourth being Morning Prayer. We also have a short service of Morning Prayer every Sunday at 8am.
Whether you’ve been here a hundred times before or whether it’s your very first visit, you’ll find as warm a welcome as you could hope to find. We welcome regular worshippers from 1-100 (or almost, anyway!) and there’s always room for more.
We have good links with our local school, and you’ll always find us getting involved with anything going on in the village, from the Christmas Fair at school to the Summer Fete in the village to Carols Around the Tree in our church yard each Christmas.
Our wardens are Mark Studholme and Wayne Merridew who are normally to be found at our services, and will be very pleased to welcome you.

St Philip's
If you are you thinking of coming to church for the first time, or the first time in a long time, or in fact at any time.......You will be very welcome!
You’ll find St Philip’s down Chatterton Lane, the turning just by the bridge in Stubbins. We’re not long off celebrating our 100th anniversary, coming up for us in 2027. We love being part of our community in Stubbins. Some of our members are also part of the residents association, and we love hosting community events – especially our Christmas Starts Here celebrations.
Services at St Philip’s are more traditional, and we particularly value the role of music in our worship. We meet twice per month, so you can find us in Church at 9.15am on the second and fourth Sundays each month.
We have a small congregation of around 25, but we work hard to create a real family feel to our church. We really value being a place where everyone can come and find a place to be known and loved.

St Paul's Church, Ramsbottom
Are you thinking of coming to church for the first time, or the first time in a long time? You will be very welcome!
St Paul’s is located in a prime position in the centre of Ramsbottom. With a growing congregation, the church offers a warm welcome to the many visitors who arrive in town, as well as local people.
Services at St Paul's are traditional, with alternate weeks of Holy Communion and Family Worship each Sunday at 11.00am.
In addition, we also host a Holy Communion Book of Common Prayer (BCP) service on Tuesdays at 10.30am, which attracts worshippers from a wide area. All services are followed by refreshments.
We have a thriving Sunday school, which currently ranges from 12 months to 12 years. Our Sunday school plays a vital and growing role within weekly services, with a changing focus in line with the ecumenical calendar. We welcome all families to join our lively Sunday mornings!
Most Saturday mornings we hold a Saturday Café where we serve the best bacon butties and coffee in town. Our church is also open for private prayer and quiet contemplation then, from 10am until 12 noon.
Our wardens are Ryan Salter and Andy Cole-Kinsey, who are usually to be found on a Sunday in church and will be very happy to meet you.
