After the down turn in the weather, St Philip's in conjunction with the residents association held their celebration of the King's Coronation inside the church hall. A wonderful time was had by all, and they were honoured by a visit from the mayor of Rossendale Anne Cheetham. Even Iris entered into the spirit and had her face painted. It was indeed a wonderful end to the weekend of festivities.
