Church of England Diocese of Manchester St. Peter, Halliwell

St Peter's Church, Halliwell

St. Peter's is a large evangelical congregation with an average Sunday attendance of around 400 people each week across our services that are held throughout the Parish on a typical Sunday, engaging with all ages through lively and relevant worship and teaching. In our services we seek to equip and support one another to be disciples out in the world as each of us goes about our daily lives. As a church we are passionate about reaching out to our wider community and sharing the Gospel. The day-to-day ministry of St. Peter's is overseen and supported by members of the St. Peter's Leadership Team.

The Parish of Halliwell: St Peter's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
