She says "I will be swimming 36 lengths of the Wentworth Baths in Hexham, just over half a mile. 36 is twice 18, and represents the year 1818 when St Peter’s was consecrated. The swim will also be good practice for me swimming a mile in the 2021 Great North Swim in Lake Windermere, for Marie Curie and Macmillan.”
