Now that COVID restrictions are beginning to be relaxed we are at last able to meet together to remember our late vicar, the Reverend Steve Wilkinson, at a Memorial Service for him at 3pm on Saturday 18th September. We are expecting a large turnout! Numbers in church are limited to around 150 but the service will also be live-streamed to the Village Hall, which can seat another 100. Please bear with us and follow the service from there if you find the church is full when you arrive. Another alternative, weather permitting, is that we will relay the service via loudspeaker outside the church. COVID precautionsIn line with government guidance most precautions have been relaxed, but for everyone’s safety we would encourage you to please take a COVID lateral flow test before the service. If the test is positive, or if you show any symptoms of COVID, or if you are in any way concerned about joining the service in person, you can still join by livestream from your home on http://www.dejavuvideo.co.uk/wilkinson/The video will also appear on YouTube: please 'Get In Touch' from our page below if you would like the link.

We are pleased to say that in line with government guidance we are gradually relaxing COVID precautions to return to more normal services in church. For example we will relax social distancing in church, keep the church open every day now for private prayer, but continue to offer hand sanitiser and to keep Test and Trace records. If you choose not to wear a mask in church that will be fine: if you feel safer keeping a mask on that is fine too. We, and everyone in church, want you to feel safe and comfortable. We hope you will feel able to come back safely to services in church again, but will still continue to offer services online as well.We will continue to check local COVID infection rates and review our precautions accordingly. If you have any concerns or questions please contact one of the ChurchwardensSt Peter’s, Humshaugh Parochial Church Council
