Accessibility

A portable ramp is available.

The church is open during daylight hours & provides a quiet space to pause and reflect.

We should love to welcome you and your dog.

Available in the Church Hall.

A hearing loop system is used at all services.

Parking is free in the street along the north side but limited. There's a large car park on the sea front within 500 metres of the church.

Large print copies of the hymn book are available on request.

Baby changing facilities are available in the Church Hall.

There is a defibrillator on the wall of the Church Hall, which is opposite the church.


Our Building

This is the only Grade 1 listed building in North Tyneside. Leaflets are available at the back of church, which give more details about the building and what to look out for.

The church has some interesting stained glass.

Toilets are available in the Church Hall opposite.

Coffee is served in the Church Hall after the Sunday 9.30 a.m. & Thursday 10.00 a.m. Eucharists. We also have a monthly Coffee Morning on the 1st Saturday of each months.


Music and Worship

We are a popular venue for concerts because of the size and acoustic in the building. Please see our web page for details of forthcoming events.

We have one of the most renowned church organs in the North of England. The Lewis organ is largely unrestored and one of the best of its kind anywhere in the world.

Evensong on 1st Sunday of the month and the 8 am celebration of the Eucharist on Sundays.

The Choir is growing and has already established a very high reputation. It has recently sung Evensong at Carlisle and Ripon Cathedrals. Further details are available from our website.

Leaflets about the church are available in church or you can read more on our website.

The Church is open every day of the year. In the summer we often open the south door too, but the main access is from the street side.

The Church is open daily for quiet reflection and prayer.


Other Features

We collect non-perishable goods for the local Food Bank. There is a box at the back of church.
