A Christening (also called a Baptism) is the service where someone begins their journey of faith and joins the family of the Church. It is a wonderful, joyful celebration.

Here at Seaton Hirst, we normally hold our Christening services after the main Sunday Mass, at either: 

• 11.15 or 12.15 at St John's

• 11.45 and 12.45 at St Andrew's
