Church of England Diocese of Newcastle Ford and Etal

The Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, ETAL

A very warm welcome to Ford and Etal in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland Borders. It's good to be able to open our doors to visitors again and we hope you will find the peace and presence of God in this Chapel which has been prayed in for over 150 years.

We normally worship at the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Etal, from Advent Sunday until Palm Sunday. During the summer we normally worship at St. Michael and All Angels, Ford. For current services look up Ford church.
However, during this virus emergency, we also have VIRTUAL SERVICES on Sundays at 11.15am which you are welcome to join. For details of how to do this, contact Revd. Canon Dr Rob Kelsey at [email protected]

The parish of Ford And Etal is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
